What a fantastic pub! We've just moved into the village and, on our first visit to the pub, we received a very warm welcome from the locals and the landlord, Paul. Everyone is very friendly and the bar staff deliver excellent service with a smile. There is a good selection of well-kept ales and the Friday lunchtime food is also good. We're now waiting for the Sunday roasts to restart, when restrictions are lifted. This is a lovely pub that we're pleased to call our local. If you're in the area, be sure to pay it a visit. Update: The Sunday roast is superb!

Lots of reviews mention it but this is one of the friendliest pubs I’ve ever been to. Went on a Friday and had very reasonably priced food. Beer well kept too. Cash only so like going back to the 80’s (but in a good way)
